With the Masters approaching and spring stalking North America, we heed the annual call of new gear from the golf equipment and accessory companies young and old. Manufacturers have unveiled a roster of new products, from clubs and fashion to practice tools and on-course technology.

The following collection of golf products offers a wide range of prices for the player to grab an upgrade or a gift for a fellow golfer.

PuttView X, US$14,480

PuttView X is an outdoor putting practice system that uses an augmented reality headset designed to guide the player toward more accurate putting.

PuttView

A star attraction at the 2023 PGA Show, PuttView X is an outdoor putting practice system that uses an augmented reality headset designed to guide the player toward more accurate putting. The outdoor system puts Microsoft’s HoloLens technology to work, displaying essential putt reading and execution data onto the real world green in front of you. From necessary force to green contours, the display helps users identify where the ball needs to go before repetitive practice matches physical movement to virtual analysis.

The better part of US$15,000 gets you the PuttView X Software, a Microsoft HoloLens 2 headset, a Wifi Router, the PuttView app, and your first 12 months of PuttView X Subscription (US$1,495 per year afterward).

Callaway Paradym Irons, US$1,399.99

The biggest news out of Callaway’s Carlsbad, Calif., design lab is the Paradym club line sweeping onto the national golf scene. Paradym features a new forged face and Speed Frame design to promote faster club heads and higher launch angles.

The new hollow body design of every iron adds more stiffness to the club head’s body, while lending thinness to the face for stronger impact and more ball speed. The Paradym line expands to drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids and is already finding a home on the PGA Tour—Jon Rahm hasselection of Callaway Paradym sticks in his bag.

Orca Custom Golf Bags, US$850

Orca is a philanthropic-minded company specializing in custom-made golf bags.

You can select a bag from its standard selection of colorful, eye-catching cart and stand versions —including eco-friendly creations and offerings from the Play for P.I.N.K. collection benefiting breast cancer research.

If you want a one of a kind golf bag with a little personality, you can choose an Orca model (stand bag or cart) before uploading a logo and lettering needs. The Orca team works with customers to design artwork and an overall bag creation.

Sacks Parente Drac Putter, US$399.99

Sacks Parente Drac Putter, US$399.99.

Sacks Parente Drac

A boutique golf design studio, Sacks Parente brought a new putter design into 2023 well ahead of Halloween with its Series 02 Drac mallet putter. The bat-like shape looks to produce better balance, increased stability and a reassuring feel on impact. SPG employs its Ultra-Low Balance Point technology, moving the putter’s key weight forward in its 6000 series aluminum alloy blend putter head. Only you can decide if its spooky red-and-black profile encourages confidence standing over the ball.

FootJoy Premiere Series Wilcox Golf Shoes, US$240

FootJoy Premiere Series Wilcox Golf Shoes, US$240.

FootJoy

The most popular shoe brand on the PGA Tour, FootJoy looked to embrace styles of the past with materials of today with the eye-catching Premiere Series Wilcox.

Featuring a classic saddle shoe design with full grain and patent leather highlights, the Wilcox construction includes a VersaTrax+ outsole and translucent rubber traction elements on the sole for support and stability. An Ortholite EcoPlush FitBed provides cushioning comfort whether a player walks 18 or takes it easier in a cart.

When pinned down in the past, reps for Parsons Xtreme Golf would tell you they had no plans to make a golf ball to go with their top shelf clubs because long established companies out there made dimpled projectiles too good to beat. Jump to 2023 and that tune changed as PXG muscled into the market with new PXG Xtreme Golf Balls.

PXG put money behind its research and development division to design a three-layer golf ball with a solid polybutadiene core, a soft urethane cover and a 338 dimple pattern to improve aerodynamics.
